Adam Moe | Weekend Primer
Adam Moe is a fiddler and singer/songwriter based in Duluth, MN. In 2012, he started the folky-tonk duo Pushing Chain with a former musical partner. For the next eight years, Pushing Chain toured the US and Canada, playing venues big and small and gaining fans the old-fashioned way — face to face, one at a time. Adam has been featured on radio and television, and played some of the biggest festivals in the country, including the 2019 Woody Guthrie Festival and the 2019 Kerrville Folk Festival.

Bandana Block Printing with Wild Kidd
January 11th, 2025 from 4-6PM at the Cedar Lounge Taproom
$10 per person | $5 for every additional bandana/print project (cash or card accepted at the door)
Event will be 2 hours long but you can come at any point from 4-5:30PM (event will end at 6 PM).
Over 40 hand carved nature, beer and twin ports themed block prints will be provided as well as 2 bandana colors.
You will be able to decorate your own bandana with the stamps, using as few or as many as desired. You can also bring your own t-shirt to decorate if desired.
Kids welcome with parental supervision.
Those who sign up through this form will be confirmed/prioritized for a spot, capping at 30 people due to space and supplies.

Lazy Lightning 420
Erik Berry (Trampled by Turtles) partnering with Duluth-based singer-songwriter Marc Gartman (Two Many Banjos, Glitteratti), and local folk hero Teague Alexy. Rather than simply performing their favorite Dead tunes, the trio are performing entire Grateful Dead concerts, drawing the set list from the records kept at Archive.org. While LazyLightning420 is essentially a mandolin-guitar duo, both players utilize an array of sound effect devices to present an electric concert. "I use an envelope filter on 'Shakedown Street,' says Berry. "I have some distortion pedals. It's a rock band at heart."

Rucksack Revolution is the melding of two of Wisconsin’s most recognized modern singer-songwriters. Adam Greuel, of the high-energy string band Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, and Sarah Vos, of the folk-inspired Dead Horses, draw from broad musical influences ranging from Leonard Cohen to Fleetwood Mac to Gillian Welch & David Rawlings to bring you a show that will be mostly focused on original material. The duo’s chemistry as musical partners and dear friends is apparent as their music features tight harmonies, introspective lyricism, and soaring melodies.
