Junkyard Mule | Superior Soundcheck Series
Old-tyme country, acoustic three-piece Junkyard Mule plays original songs and classic covers about drifting, drinking and long-lost love. The band’s music sounds like it was made in the back room of a crossroads general store sometime around 1950. After hours. With a little homemade hooch to lighten the load. Junkyard Mule hasn’t released any work yet, but when it does it should be on both Spotify and shellac. The supergroup features vocalist and guitar/mandolin player Nate Hynum, bassist Jennifer Krussow and fiddle ace Clancy Ward.

Life Parade + Six Of Seven
Catchy pop-rock music is the driving force leading Life Parade down the sonic avenues of Duluth. The band is fronted by singer/guitarist Cameron Mathews, who started planting seeds for the project in 2014, with the efforts culminating in the 2019 album Suburban Life. The sound is reminiscent of late 1990s indie-rock radio hits, while still maintaining a fresh, modern vibe. Members of the now-defunct band The Resonance have rounded out Mathews’ songs in recent years. The lineup features Dan Munthe on keys and guitar, Cliff Lavigne on bass, Mike Bernier on guitar and Scott Kimball on drums. Local band Six Of Seven open the show.
